Privacy Policy

Privacy is the default at TOKYEE, not a setting. This page explains, in plain language, what we do and do not do with your information.

No accounts, no tracking

TOKYEE works without any signup. We never ask for your email, phone number, or any personal profile, so there is nothing to leak.

We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or behavioural profiling of any kind.

Temporary by design

Every room is temporary. When a room expires (after 1, 12, or 24 hours) or the owner destroys it, the room, its participants, and any shared files are permanently deleted.

Chat messages are never stored on our servers — they are relayed between participants in real time and forgotten.

Your audio and video

Voice and video are sent peer-to-peer over encrypted WebRTC connections. Your media streams are not recorded and do not pass through our servers as stored data.

A camera or microphone is only accessed after you grant permission in your browser, and you can mute or disable either at any time.

What stays on your device

A short-lived room access token is stored in your browser so you can rejoin a room you already entered. It is cleared when the room ends or you leave.

We do not use cookies for tracking.

Shared files

Files you share are stored temporarily only so other participants can download them, and are deleted automatically when the room expires or is destroyed.
